Our team is managing 800+ servers for our products. We are responsible for maintaining high availability for SLA infrastructure. Every day, we help our programmers build high quality solutions based on high availability. We also do not forget about our infrastructure and try to build it based on best practices and experience. To achieve our goal, we use tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Consul, and many others.
What you will do as a Junior DevOps Engineer at LiveChat:
- Improve our automation tools
- Monitor and respond to ongoing issues from the developer teams, technical support team, etc.
- Improve our monitoring system (We have over 40,000 triggers without any false-positive information)
- Plan and then implement new solutions
We’re looking for the following:
- 1+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator (experience with Red Hat or CentOS will be an asset);
- Hands-on experience working with Linux server management;
- Basic knowledge of automation tools in administration work (Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Terragrunt, etc)
- Hands-on experience working with git
- Experience with Vmware solutions will be an asset
- High level of English (written and spoken);
- Engagement, creativity, self-reliance;
- Ability to work in a team.
