Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the software development lifecycle, including:
- Requirement analysis, definition, and estimation.
- Conducting security impact assessments.
- Designing and implementing new features.
- Testing, documentation, and delivering the product.
- Providing ongoing maintenance and debugging.
- Investigating and resolving trouble reports.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in C programming.
- Experience with Python, Perl, or TCL programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Git, or Gerrit.
- Experience writing unit tests.
- Knowledge of broadband/datacom technologies, including Switching/Routing, Ethernet, and PON topologies.
- Systems integration experience.
- Experience working with distributed teams.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Programming experience in Java.
