Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom applications and modules in the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITSM, CMDB, or IRM.
  • Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
  • Implement workflows, business rules, and UI customization to enhance the platform’s functionality.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and applications via APIs and middleware.
  • Maintain and update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Enhance and support risk management processes using the IRM module, including audits, policies, and control testing.
  • Perform platform upgrades and implement new features as released by ServiceNow.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues to ensure platform stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and technical details for ongoing support.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in ITSM, CMDB, or IRM modules.
  • Proficient in ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript, Jelly, Glide API).
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience in creating and managing ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping (for CMDB).
  • Hands-on experience with ACLs, workflows, UI policies, and notifications in ServiceNow.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.


Nice to Have:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
  • ServiceNow ITSM or IRM Implementation Specialist certification.
  • Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow SecOps, HRSD, or other modules.
  • Experience with ServiceNow reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow deployments.
