Job description
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development (preferably Nodejs)
- Proficiency in SQL development
- Experience working on microservices, Kubernetes-based platforms, and AWS.
- Previous experience in the finance industry
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Proficiency in building applications using Java
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or Solace
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes, Jenkins, and Artifactory
- Experience in designing scalable and resilient architectures on AWS (or other cloud providers)
- Familiarity with technologies like DataDog, Docker,
- Knowledge of alternative database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the development of solutions for finance and reporting area
- Creation of new software applications and the delivery of software enhancements and projects aimed at supporting investment technology
- Creating software solutions using test-driven and agile software development methodologies.
- Crafting and designing scalable cloud-native applications.
- System upgrades, focusing on enhancing resiliency, capacity, automation, controls, and integration with both internal and external vendors and services.
- Managing and resolving operational issues, utilizing CI/CD platforms
