Job description

Our Client provides implementation services, executing technology projects for the world of payments. We focus on innovative products, functional development of existing systems and their ongoing maintenance. We work with financial institutions around the globe.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implementation of backend applications (mainly based on SpringBoot)
• Design and implementation of application data model
• Preparation of documentation for implemented solutions
• Deploying applications to own and customers' environments
• Coaching junior team members
• Supporting tests

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

A must-have:

• Practical knowledge of Java SE programming (Java 17 and above)
• At least 5 years of experience in developing Spring applications (including SpringBoot)
• Hands-on experience with building and maintaining backend-intense applications (simple CRUD does not count)
• Hands-on experience with producing and consuming REST APIs
• Ability to work with SQL data sources
• Experience with TDD
• Knowledge of popular Java idioms and design patterns
• Fluent spoken & written English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and ability to create application frontend (Angular, React)
• Knowledge of digital payments-related issues
• Experience with cryptography algorithms and standards
