About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator / Support Engineer to join our team and help maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Linux-based systems, automating processes, ensuring system security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of Linux servers.

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux-based infrastructure in production environments.

• Manage authentication, access controls, and security policies, including integration with centralized authentication services.

• Automate system administration tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.

• Maintain system documentation, including configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

• Work closely with other teams to support infrastructure needs and implement best practices.

• Analyze system logs, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Linux system administration.

• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.

• Experience managing user authentication and access controls.

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

• Hands-on experience with scripting in Bash or Python.

• Knowledge of storage management, including file systems, remote mounts (NFS, CIFS), and logical volume management.

• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to infrastructure management.
