Enterprise / Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise / Solution Architect to design and review corporate-scale architectures supporting demanding business needs. The role covers both in-house built systems and integrations with external solutions, delivered in environments based on private cloud and Azure. You will coordinate across multiple teams and domains (engineering, DevOps, security, infrastructure, business users, vendors) and help set standards that improve security, performance, reliability, and delivery quality.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and review architectures for enterprise solutions (internal development and third-party integrations)

• Create architectures for systems running on private cloud and Azure

• Coordinate architecture work across project teams (analysts, developers, DevOps, security/infrastructure architects, users, software vendors)

• Identify technology needs and contribute to initiatives improving security, performance, reliability, and software delivery processes

• Define architecture standards and maintain high-quality documentation

Must-have skills:

• Proven ability to design and integrate complex, high-performance, secure enterprise systems

• Broad technical knowledge and strong software architecture toolkit (best practices, tools, governance/ways of working)

• Good understanding of microservices patterns and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Strong knowledge of cloud and cloud-agnostic technologies, with hands-on expertise in selected areas

• Development background in C# or Java and credibility among engineering teams

• Excellent communication skills (negotiation, presenting solutions, influencing decisions across different levels)

• Ability to use system design/modelling tools and create architecture models

• Experience preparing high-level design documentation and architectural requirements for RFPs

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture management methods

• Experience with technologies such as Elasticsearch, Kafka, Kubernetes, HashiCorp Vault, and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience requirements

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions for large-scale, internet-facing consumer platforms

• At least 1 year in a full-time Solution Architect role integrating a complex application ecosystem

• Banking systems experience is a plus
