Data Center Engineer – Cloud

We are looking for a skilled Data Center Engineer – Cloud to support the integration, maintenance, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure and hybrid environments within a large-scale data center. This role bridges traditional on-premises systems with modern cloud platforms and focuses on ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability across multi-cloud or hybrid IT landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the deployment and administration of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) within hybrid data center environments
• Manage and monitor cloud-based resources, virtual machines, storage, and networking services
• Assist in the migration of workloads between on-prem and cloud environments
• Collaborate with DevOps, networking, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operational continuity
• Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation
• Ensure compliance with cloud governance policies, security standards, and cost optimization guidelines
• Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues in hybrid cloud systems
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation for configurations, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, storage, compute, and identity management
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud models and on-premise data center operations
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Datadog)
• Working knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex IT environments
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift rotation
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator, or Google Cloud Associate Engineer are a strong plus
