Cloud Modernization & Migration Solution Architect (Fluent in German)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Modernization & Migration Solution Architect with fluency in German to join our Technology Strategy and Transformation team at a senior level. In this role, you will collaborate with technologists and business professionals to design and implement cutting-edge cloud solutions for leading organizations across the EMEA region. You will be at the forefront of cloud transformation initiatives, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Development: Design and shape solutions for various migration paths (r-paths) for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Cloud Assessments: Conduct comprehensive cloud assessments to plan migrations and establish landing zones.
• Market Analysis: Understand and interpret market pricing benchmarks to inform cost-effective solution designs.
• Datacenter Architecture Knowledge: Apply deep understanding of datacenter architectures, including networks, infrastructure services, and security protocols.
• Hybrid/Multi-Cloud Solutions: Architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions tailored to client needs.
• Communication: Effectively convey solutions, ideas, and recommendations to both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Technology Adoption: Stay current with emerging technologies, adopting and relating them to solve complex problems while adhering to security standards.
• Design Facilitation: Lead design discussions, communicate architectural decisions, and guide implementation teams.
• Business Alignment: Apply technological solutions strategically to meet business objectives and requirements.
• Travel: Willingness to travel for business engagements as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Language Proficiency: Advanced German language skills (minimum C1 level) and excellent English communication skills.
• Certifications: At least two certifications from leading cloud providers (Hyperscalers) such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience: Over 7 years of applied IT experience with a strong focus on cloud technologies and solution architecture.
• Architectural Expertise: Advanced understanding of architectural principles, methods, and frameworks.
• Analytical Skills: Strong conceptual and analytical abilities to extract, analyze, and document complex business and technical strategies.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent collaboration and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in diverse teams.
• Technological Adaptability: Ability to adopt new technologies to address problems while maintaining compliance with security and industry standards.
• AI and Machine Learning: Experience with AI and machine learning tools, such as Azure ML, is advantageous.
• Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the latest cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging trends, and deployment options.
