Automation Test Expert

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team and support the development of automated testing in a cloud-based environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in defining automation strategies, building custom test frameworks, and working with modern tools for UI and API testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement automation strategy and design custom automation frameworks.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and testers to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Perform testing in cloud environments such as AWS and Databricks.

• Conduct database testing and validate SQL queries.

• Ensure test documentation and test results are clear and actionable.

Requirements

• Proven experience in setting up test automation frameworks and automation strategy.

• Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools:

  • Web: Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or TestComplete

  • API: Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or Newman

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript

• Experience with GitHub and collaborative development workflows.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud and Databricks platforms.

• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
