Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Appian Developer who combines strong technical capabilities in low-code development with a passion for process automation. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work at the intersection of BPM, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation, helping drive digital transformation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

🔧 Your Role: What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Business Automation & Process Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing business-critical workflows using the Appian platform. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable business process applications using Appian’s latest features and tools.

  • Automating complex workflows by integrating RPA components and AI-based decision logic into Appian processes.

  • Building intuitive and dynamic user interfaces within the Appian ecosystem.

  • Working with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs, and define technical solutions.

  • Managing data models using Appian Low-Code Data architecture.

  • Ensuring smooth system integrations using REST APIs, Appian Connected Systems, or custom plugins.

  • Participating in application testing, code reviews, and performance tuning.

  • Mentoring less-experienced developers and supporting knowledge-sharing within the team.

  • Staying on top of emerging trends in low-code, AI, and process automation.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Appian (or other BPM tools such as Pega, Camunda, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of low-code platforms and how to implement end-to-end automation solutions.

  • Practical experience integrating systems via REST/SOAP and other protocols.

  • Familiarity with AI concepts (e.g., NLP, document recognition) and RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, or Appian RPA).

  • Exposure to application lifecycle management, including CI/CD and unit testing.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.

  • A proactive mindset with attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have:

  • Appian Certified Developer credentials.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

  • Knowledge of Appian's AI and RPA modules.

  • Previous work on process transformation or digital workflow initiatives.
