Provide overall management of the project delivery team including resource allocation and utilization, forecasting and budget for consulting services work, while monitoring project health & performance.
Work to continually improve, refine, and champion project delivery methodology and procedures.
Ensure projects are provided according to quality standards and documented procedures to achieve successful delivery of implementation engagements.
Resolve project delivery issues, mitigate risks, and escalate as needed.
Manage customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Plan resource requirements and workload prioritization in collaboration with onshore counterparts.
Support pre-sales activities which includes but are not limited to participating in sales calls, addressing RFPs and preparation of proposal estimates/POC/demo.
Review and approve direct team's time and expense reports.
Requirements:
At least 2-3 years of experience in consulting services and delivery management
At least 5 years of experience in project management
Superb communication (both verbal and in writing), presentation and social skills that enable partnership across a wide range of partners including business and technology, internal and external.
Experience in managing large scale data and analytics projects/programs with multiple projects and stakeholders, because of high exposure on stress.
Proven experience working with senior executives, managers and developers in governing demand and execution planning - we need person who "makes things done" and who things proactively.
Nice to have:
From technology experience, a focus on Big Data and Cloud. Delivering databricks, SQL, PBI, Azure or Data Lakes in Azure.
