Tasks:  

  • Develop and execute a cloud data strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design robust data architectures in Microsoft Azure.
  • Lead data integration efforts, including ETL processes, to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Implement security measures and compliance standards in cloud environments.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize data solutions for cost-efficiency.
  • Establish and enforce data governance and quality standards.
  • Leverage Azure services, as well as tools like dbt and Databricks, for efficient data pipelines and analytics solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide data solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members in cloud data architecture best practices.


Requirements:  

  • 10+ years of professional experience in the Data & Analytics area.
  • 2+ years of experience in the Architect or Senior Consultant role with a strong focus on Azure data solutions.
  • Good understanding of business processes and the ability to drive automation through effective management.
  • Advanced or expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering, and integration.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Master's degree a plus.
  • Proven Cloud Data Architect experience with a focus on Azure, dbt, and Databricks.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud data services, data warehousing, big data technologies, and data lakes.
  • Expertise in data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Data Engineer) a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to apply DevOps and DataOps principles to data pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English
