For our client, one of the largest biotechnology companies in the world, we are seeking a candidate for the position of: SAP Business Solution Analyst (IT) - Finance & Controlling.
Your key responsibilities:
- Usage of your excellent Functional & Technical knowledge in identifying and evaluating business requirements and designing and deploying the best technical solution and Architectural design in the SAP finance area with an understanding of end-to-end processes.
- Bringing in your knowledge of Blackline Reconciliation & Smart Close into our projects.
- Providing strategic direction and oversight to owners of components that comprise the solution.
- Ensures effective and appropriate mapping of business needs to technology.
- Create technical design documents, assessment of technologies and solutions Functional and Technical Assessment of the solution.
- Ensure the solution fits the Financial Core requirements and the end-to-end process design including systems, interfaces and platforms.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), working and supporting closely and aligned with the product managers / owners in the Finance Controlling (FICO) area and also other IT & business stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive standardization of master data and processes and delivering the product roadmap.
- Facilitate and validate system and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure smooth handover of the solution and system built to the support and operations teams.
- Ensures that IT standards are applied and adhered to IT standards (including security, privacy, quality and process) and compliance with the requirements of regulatory bodies.
Your qualifications and experience:
- Broad experience as an SAP Consultant in Finance demonstrating essential expertise in a global, multicultural, time-zone-spanning work environment.
- Deep understanding of SAP ERP Financial Accounting and Controlling, related technologies (eg. ABAP, HANA), and cross-functional processes.
- Experience in BlackLine reconsolidation and BlackLine Smart Close solution.
- Business-focused, results-oriented approach, with excellent coordination and skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and plan own work effectively.
- Proficient in communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with Agile, SCRUM, SAFe, and ABAP development would be advantageous.
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or other validated environments would be regarded as beneficial.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% to various European and global locations, with an emphasis on leveraging virtual collaboration methods.
