The role
We are looking for a strong tech leader to one of our engineering teams - Regulatory Reporting, responsible for maintaining and developing reporting functionality for the casino platform in many markets.
You will lead a sub-team of 3-8 Backend Engineers, working in an Agile way.
The key responsibilities of a Team Lead are categorized in two areas:
- Product planning & delivery
This part contains :
- tracking and prioritizing JIRA tickets (20-30% of time),
- building product roadmaps (with close cooperation with Product Owner and other Team Leads),
- planning Sprints and Backlog Groomings,
- taking part in creating a system architecture,
- making sure that the product delivered is of great quality,
- identifing blockers for the team and suggesting ways to overcome these,
- participating in code reviews and pair programming.
2. Team health & happiness
It will take up to 4 hours in a week. This part is about taking care of your team and help people to deliver and grow to their full potential (e.g. by having 1-2-1s). Additionally, you will be involved in recruiting and onboarding new team members.
Our expectations

1+ years’ experience in leading development teams - not only as a tech lead, but also as a people manager.

6+ years’ experience as a Software Developer (using Java and/or Kotlin).
- Balances short-term needs against long-term stability.
- Confident communicator. Able to advocate for the team and describe key projects to other teams or areas of the company.
- Recognizes individual - and team successes.

- 💸 monthly salary: 30 000 - 35 000 PLN net + VAT (B2B)
