Freelance / Contract .NET Developer Opportunity 

We’re on the lookout for a talented freelance or contract .NET Developer to join our close-knit team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who brings not just technical expertise, but also valuable experience that can support and shape our ambitious growth strategy.

Tasks & responsibilities 

  • Design, build and enhance new and existing C#/.NET applications (Web — ASP.NET and WinForms) that power our quoting, production and logistics workflows 

  • Refactor legacy code, support and fix existing solutions, perform code reviews  

  • Integrate with Microsoft SQL Server databases; optimise queries and stored procedures 

  • Use DevExpress UI controls to deliver intuitive user experiences 

  • Deploy and monitor current services, with the objective to enhance, improve and problem solve.  

  • Collaborate with engineers and production; translate CAD requirements and manufacturing/business rules into software logic 


Must-have

-3 + years professional experience in an object-oriented language (e.g. C#, Java, Kotlin, etc.)  

-Experience with ASP.NET and WinForms (or comparable web & desktop frameworks) 

-Solid SQL skills (schema design, query tuning) 

-Git & GitHub workflow familiarity 

-Knowledge of DevExpress 

-Fluent spoken & written English 


Desirable

-Experience in a manufacturing/engineering business 

-JavaScript / TypeScript experience 

-Understanding of CAD formats (DXF/DWG, STEP) 

-Experience with Azure and IIS

Interview Process
