Full Stack Data Scientist (m/w/d)

Your Role

As a Full Stack Data Scientist, you will integrate data, AI, Machine Learning, and cloud technologies to propel business growth and expand our customer base. You will develop cutting-edge solutions that transform how Kuehne + Nagel interacts with customers, bringing AI and data to the conversation to strengthen our supply chain partnerships. Our technology simplifies customer processes by optimizing transportation according to customers’ specific supply chain requirements, offering real-time visibility of goods locations, and aiding our operations team in moving cargo efficiently worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyse structured and unstructured data, from internal and external sources
• You are expected to be part of the creative process to come up with innovative solutions based on conversations with product managers, customers, and colleagues from across the organization
• Implement optimization and machine learning pipelines
• Coordinate data science work
• Coach team members on data science topics

Your Skills and Experiences

• Scientific or technical background in a field of science or IT
• 3- 5+ years in a similar role
• Supply chain optimization expertise or some background in the industry preferred
• Knack for visualizing complex data sets
• Familiarity with Python for data analysis (pandas, Streamlit, kedro, scikit-learn)
• Familiarity with using AWS or another cloud solution
• Experience in the following would be a plus: SQL, Snowflake, Docker, Git
