Software Engineer

For our client – a global leader in the aviation and aerospace industry – we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating AI-driven solutions that support advanced aviation systems and operational processes. The role combines backend engineering with modern AI/ML capabilities, contributing to intelligent document processing, data analysis, and automation initiatives within mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate is passionate about artificial intelligence, clean and scalable code, and building reliable systems in a complex, high-impact domain.

Key responsibilities

• Building and maintaining backend services in Python and Java

• Developing applications using Spring Boot and Django frameworks

• Integrating external and internal APIs

• Designing and developing AI/ML-based solutions (e.g., NLP, OCR, document processing)

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a complex technical environment

• Contributing to architecture decisions and continuous improvement initiatives

Ideal candidate profile

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Strong programming skills in Java

• Experience with Spring Boot

• Experience with Django

• Experience with API integrations

• Experience with Angular

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML solutions (e.g., NLP, OCR, document processing)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills

Conditions

• Location: hybrid in Gdańsk (2 days from the office)

• Contract type: B2B

• Salary: 160-220 PLN/h
