Data Quality Specialist

We are leader in debt collection industry, operating in 8 countries in Europe. We like passion, constant improvement and team work. You will be working in Headquarter of our Group which means multicultural environment and support for all our European entities. Right now we are implementing in entire Capital Group data governance practices and processes. Being responsible for implementation and maintenance of a metadata schemas and repositories to catalog and managing data assets, facilitating easy discovery and understanding by data users, you will have strong impact on elevating company wide data maturity.

Data Quality Specialist

Your range of responsibilities:

• Work with business & IT teams to drive data quality implementation in project and BAU (bussines as usual) context.
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality as well as acquire, cleanse, validate and integrate data for use by organization.
• Develop, construct, test and maintain DQ implementation in collaboration with IT.
• Support Data Custodians to profile data, build quality specification & configuration quality rules in source system with data quality tools.
• Ensure that DQ architecture is in line with business requirements.
• Formulate DQ management process and roll out proper tools to support the proces.

Our expectations:

• Previous experience as a data quality specialist or in a similar role involving data analysis.
• Practical knowledge of Data Quality tools like Microsoft DQS, Informatica Data Quality, IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer etc.
• Practical knowledge of relational database concepts, TSQL/SQL, regular expressions, scripting (ie. Python), exploratory data analysis and data visualization.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills to work with both business and IT.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends in data quality and data governance.

Nice to have:

• Experience in agile projects.
• Practical knowledge of data contracts concept.
