About the Role

As a Senior React Native Engineer, you'll be a key member of our team, proposing creative solutions, de-tangling the complex into the simple, and collaborating closely with teammates and Product. Our engineering team uses React Native for our mobile applications, React.js on the web frontend, and Ruby on Rails on the backend. We’re looking for someone who is an expert in React Native and / or cross-platform mobile app development.

English is our primary language and we provide coaching, mentoring and help with English language skills

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional Mobile / Web experience
• 3+ years experience and In-depth knowledge of React Native or another modern cross-platform mobile app framework
• Proficiency with all parts of the software development lifecycle, including testing and release management
• Strong analytical and communication skills. We’re a distributed team with flexible working hours, so communication is a key
• Experience building API-driven applications

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Product to conceptualize and implement new features and improvements in our client-facing code
• Contribute to the technical roadmap of ongoing improvements, enhancements and updates
• Participate in code reviews, listen to feedback and comment on other approaches
• Help solve debugging, testing, and deployment problems
• Collaborate across teams to promote consistency
• Improve the stability of existing and new code
• Provide technical leadership
