About the Job
We are building a software development and competence center for a well established internet platform operating in the United States and eight European countries.
You will get to work on high visibility projects to improve the performance of the experience on Web and Mobile platforms, technical SEO initiatives, A/B tests and build the feature set that will take our product to the next level. English is our primary language and we provide coaching, mentoring and help with English language skills.
You should be comfortable building solutions to complex native challenges and promoting change across organizational boundaries. We're working with React Native to build our mobile applications. You also may occasionally work on our Web application using React.js. We've built our application on top of REST backend services, and we'd like you to think through how the mobile infrastructure should be built and designed. We believe strongly in test-driven development and code reviews. It's expected that you'd be a reviewer helping to grow the skills of the more junior engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Build mobile applications focused on Clients
- Collaborate with design and product management to conceptualize a new product feature from the ground up
- Innovate & contribute to our technical roadmap of ongoing improvements, enhancements and updates.
- Invest in the broader department’s React Native and Typescript experience depth
- Provide feedback through code reviews and white boarding sessions
- Maintain and expand unit tests and code coverage
- Implement product features and refactor existing code throughout the stack
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years experience, comfortable working independently on Mobile Applications
- Well versed in React Native and JavaScript; bonus if that includes React.js
- Proficient with State Management in React applications
- Experience building API-driven applications
- Experience with xCode & Android Studio environments
- Experience with feature flagged development
- Comfortable with mobile test frameworks
- A strong advocate of clean code
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge of Ruby, MySQL, Redis, Rails, React, and ElasticSearch all a plus but not required
- You like to be data-driven and have worked with A/B testing frameworks such as Optimizely
