Who are we?
Kontakt.io is digitalizing the physical world. Our Bluetooth beacons and infrastructure management tools help businesses build context-rich applications to improve customer experience. On top of that, we provide the technology needed to optimize resources and get more out of assets and real time location systems. Our Bluetooth tags, Gateway, and Location Engine provide location information, laying the foundation for industrial applications that improve operations, security, and compliance. These tools will drive new solutions and success in next-gen IoT.
What is our mobile team working on?
Our 2 people large mobile team is responsible for development of our SDKs and beacon apps. As a Android Developer you will get the chance to work on to work on cutting-edge technology (Kotlin, RxJava) and to make a real impact on our projects. On top of that you will work with #ExtraOrdinary people, who also love to have fun both at work and after hours 🙂 By fun we mean fierce ping-pong, Fifa competitions, climbing, bowling and many more!

What will you be doing?
- being a key player in our mobile apps team to shape the functionality & feel of our mobile “face” to our customers.
- designing and building advanced solutions for the Android platform
- collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- working with outside data sources and API’s
- unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- working on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency
