DB Engineer/Administrator

🌆 Location:

Poland - office (Kraków) / remote

Europe - 100% Remote

⏰ Contract: B2B, Full-Time

🔍 Required Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DB architecture and development;
• Proven experience as a DB software architect
• Experience with: Oracle, MySQL
• Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably AWS
• Experience building enterprise data models, data flow diagrams and doing behavioral data analytics.
• Experience in data analysis;
• Experience designing, building, installing, configuring, supporting and maintaining high-volume, large database systems;
• Strong skills with performance tuning, and optimization, backups, restores, and recovery models;
• Extensive experience in at least one programming language;
• Experience transforming data from multiple data sources into minable aggregate data;
• working experience with Linux servers;

Nice to have: Postgres and AWS based Data tools and structure

🔨 Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of database architectures and data modeling.
• Practical experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and configuring database servers for high availability and scalability.
• Results-oriented, enjoy solving complex problems and implementing cutting-edge solutions.
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail;
• Good oral and written communication skills, and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Excellent analytical skills.
