    The current opportunity arises within the Digital Product Team based in our Warsaw Office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our Global Occupier client products are delivering the maximum business value and meeting our client needs. You will work closely with the Global Occupier team across the globe to develop the databases and data feeds items that underpin our growing number of digital products.


    The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong background in programming, data modelling, visualisation

    and turning ideas into products for clients. 


    Your Responsibilities will include: 

    • To work with the Global Occupier team to turn data into analytics platforms for Knight Frank clients.
    • Developing new R Shiny applications and maintaining the existing ones.
    • To extend the team’s data modelling and product development.
    • Creating interactive maps using Leaflet
    • Generate new ideas of how data can be analysed and presented to clients through digital products.
    • Preparing data visualizations for team’s presentations with clients.
    • Analysing data from Google Maps Directions and Distance Matrix API.
    • Interpreting business requirements and converting them into interactive dashboards.
    • To work with multiple stakeholders across the client product portfolio



    The ideal candidate will have experience of:

    • 2+ years of experience developing R Shiny applications
    • Working knowledge in Python
    • Experience with Leaflet or other mapping library
    • Experience with data visualization libraries like ggplot2, plotly or highcharter
    • Experience with data cleaning and parsing
    • Familiarity with HTML and CSS
    • Familiarity with basic principles of version control (Git)
    • Proficiency in fundamental SQL operations and database querying

     

    Experience of the following or similar desirable but not essential:

    • Basic ETL knowledge
    • Excel proficiency
    • Experience writing unit tests
    • Familiarity with Docker
    • Familiarity with Bash for command line operations and scripting
    • Basic JavaScript programming skills
    • Basic knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial data analysis

     

      Other requirements:

    • Great communications skills
    • Fluency in spoken and written English
    • A high level of self-motivation and a ‘can-do’ attitude
    • Inquisitive mind and desire to innovate and develop new tools
    • Strong analytical and statistical skills with strong attention to detail
