    Place of work: Poznań (hybrid role)


    The client of Just Join IT is looking for an Engineering Manager who will join the management team in an international IT company.


    Profile of an Ideal Candidate:

    The ideal candidate possesses proven capability to manage a geographically dispersed team and has exhibited a keen ability to discern when to provide guidance and when to allow the team to operate independently. They showcase outstanding leadership and facilitation skills, maintaining a strong aptitude for balancing engineering and product priorities. Additionally, they possess profound knowledge of steering teams within a long-term technical strategy that complements the product roadmap. Their solid technical background enhances their ability to make informed decisions and support team members in complex technical discussions. Moreover, they are open to international cooperation and have a good command of English.


    Job responsibilities:

    • Provide hands-on leadership in managing a hybrid team (remote and on-site employees), ensuring high productivity and ownership.
    • Act as a technical partner within the team, guiding and supporting members in technical conversations and decisions.
    • Ensure product scalability and alignment with high industry standards, managing technical debt as needed.
    • Formulate and prioritize product development plans integrating technical and business considerations, ensuring successful execution.
    • Clarify and gather business requirements effectively.
    • Drive product adoption and work closely with the Product team to enhance feature usage.
    • Collaborate directly with vendors.
    • Actively participate in global leadership forums, driving company- wide initiatives and fostering organizational culture.
