We are a successful, remote-first company looking for a tech-savvy, skilled Staff Backend Engineer to join our team. 

Your Role 

Your task will be to design, develop and maintain new features of the product in a long-term roadmap established by our product team. 

We value different points of view, so you are also expected to challenge existing solutions to improve existing aspects of the system. 

What we expect 

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Java ecosystem (Spring). Go and/or Python very strong plus 
• You can work excellently with complex data – SQL and NoSQL - Redis a strong plus. Project is data-heavy 
• Automatic identification system (AIS) standard familiarity strong plus but not required
• You read once Clean Code and know what is SOLID, KISS, and DRY
• Experience and self-reliance in implementing microservice based solutions
• Practical experience with Linux, Docker and git, knowing at least one cloud provider desirable 
• High level of written and spoken English 
• Efficiency in remote work and high on-line work culture
