IT Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our prestigious client in Wrocław. This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone with strong finance and accounting knowledge, excellent SQL skills, and experience working with financial systems and wealth management data.

Responsibilities:

• Support finance and accounting IT initiatives within capital markets.
• Write complex SQL queries and develop data models.
• Conduct functional testing of financial data: general ledger, P&L, balance sheet, etc.
• Work with accounting engine logic and data transformations.
• Collaborate on bank sub-ledger platforms and finance applications.
• Handle requirements related to equities, fixed income, loans, and other wealth management asset classes.
• Liaise with finance stakeholders to gather and manage business requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven IT Business Analyst experience in finance/accounting and capital markets.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills, including complex joins.
• Deep understanding of general ledger data, journals, positions, P&L, and balance sheets.
• Experience with accounting engines and finance reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with wealth management asset classes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP Fioneer or SAP FSDM.
