DevOps

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our development and deployment processes. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the seamless integration and delivery of software applications. Your expertise in AWS, GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines will be crucial in maintaining high standards of efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Optimize pipeline performance and reliability.
• AWS Cloud Management: Manage and support AWS cloud environments, including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling of resources. Implement best practices for security, cost management, and performance.
• Version Control: Oversee and manage source code repositories using GitHub. Ensure proper branching strategies, code reviews, and collaboration among development teams.
• Infrastructure as Code: Utilize tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to define and manage infrastructure in a scalable and repeatable manner.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch or other tools to track system performance, identify issues, and ensure high availability of applications.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency across the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of applications. Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes, tools, and technologies to enhance the overall DevOps strategy and practices.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with hands-on experience in AWS, GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with AWS services and tools.
• Strong experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
