Job Title: Business Analyst (Contract)

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Salary: €400-€500 per day

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in banking or financial services to join our team in Brussels on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and supporting the delivery of technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and completeness
• Develop detailed functional specifications, including data flows, process diagrams, and use cases
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately understood and implemented
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed changes
• Support testing activities and user acceptance testing
• Provide ongoing analysis and support throughout the project lifecycle

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders 
• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., UML, BPMN)
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with Agile project methodologies
• Fluency in English, French or Dutch
