Project Manager

Keepit is looking for a Project Manager to join our Engineering Team in Krakow, Poland.    

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for the Team of 16 people. The team consists of developers, product manager, designer and QAs and is responsible for Platform Capabilities: Data Protection and Recovery. Team members are located in Ukraine and Poland.   

We are growing fast as a company and do our best to bring our SaaS cloud-based backup services to the global audience.     

Our platform is designed to provide customers with an immutable historical archive of their primary data in systems such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Azure AD, Dynamics 365, and Zendesk. It aims to protect them against everything, starting from ransomware to simple accidents.     

Backing up billions of objects over foreign APIs using imperfect networks on systems with finite memory and making it all happen in as little time as possible, is no small feat.     

 Central tasks: 

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of Product Manager, UX Designer, Developers, and QAs.   
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation and learning.   
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to align project goals with broader business objectives.   
• Efficiently allocate team members to projects based on skills, expertise, and project priority.   
• Continuously monitor resource utilization to optimize team productivity.   
• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery, ensuring projects are completed within scope and schedule.   
• Enforce established project management processes, methodologies, and best practices while continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement.   
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for projects and the overall team scope, identifying potential challenges and developing mitigation strategies together with the team. Take proactive measures to keep projects on track.   
• Identify and escalate project and team-related blockers or challenges to senior leadership as necessary, providing clear and concise updates on the situation.   
• Manage stakeholder feedback, concerns, and changes and facilitate effective resolution and alignment.   

Requirements:   

• 4+ years of experience in IT project management   
• Upper-intermediate English+   
• Understanding of PMO methodologies and frameworks   
• Proven experience in managing multiple cross-functional projects from the initial stage till release   
• Proven experience in resource, risk, and scope management   
• Experience in managing cross-cultural teams 
• Experience in stakeholder management   
• Analytical and critical thinking skills   
• Excellent communication, high organizational and facilitation skills    
• Excellent at people management   
• Experience working in a product company would be a plus   
• A preference to work in an environment where the whole team is empowered to make decisions

4. Strategic thinking: Demonstrate a "helicopter view" perspective, seeing beyond the project and current state of things to understand the bigger picture, potential impact, outcomes, and dependencies. Drive changes in project direction or approach based on strategic considerations, ensuring ongoing alignment with organizational objectives.   
5. Language: English is a preferred language, and we expect you to be fluent in both written and spoken.
