About the company

jtendo is a telecommunication expert providing the high quality products and services to mobile network operators. Our focus is on security, system integration and product development.

We are looking for an engineer/analyst who will develop threat intel based on the data coming from our telco security platforms installed worldwide. The person will also participate in threat hunting activities communicating with various actors on the telco security landscape.

Requirements:

• A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including knowledge of common threats and vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and security measures to analyze network traffic and detect anomalies
• Familiarity with incident response procedures and the ability to act swiftly and effectively in the event of a security breach
• Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess security incidents and make informed decisions

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of telco protocols such as SS7, Diameter, GTP, SIP, 5G HTTP/2 and their design flaws/vulnerabilities
• General knowledge of mobile network architecture (2/3/4/5G)
• Hands-on experience in elasticsearch-based data mining
• Understanding of common types of WEB security attacks (DNS cache poisoning, ARP spoofing, DDoS, XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in application security testing software and common penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap (NSE), etc.)
