We're looking for a tech-savvy Lead Developer to join our team and drive the development of modern web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Drupal, Magento, WordPress, Docker, and AWS. If you have a passion for cutting-edge technology and a relaxed, yet precise approach, we'd love to hear from you!

💡 Development is our magic word: we develop websites and their components. But our expertise also includes the standardized handling of web development projects (e.g. creating and organizing repositories) and quality checks for external agencies. 

As Digitalization-Area - Data & Platforms we work on the creation, development and implementation of digital products and processes every day, consistently driving forward the digital transformation of the food family. 

We ensure that innovative and customer-oriented solutions can be created, actively lived and implemented. 

We are currently looking for an expert to lead a team of Developers, inspire them to innovate, and ensure scalability, performance and compliance with current technology trends of the designed systems.

🚀Your mission:

• Lead the development team and provide technical direction for the company.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, architecture, and standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and goals.
• Ensure the quality of software delivery, architecture, and security.
• Mentor and guide junior developers.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Front-end Development with React and Next.js.
• CMS-related Backend Development with Drupal and Magento.
• Familiarity with classical DevOps practices and cloud-based DevOps on AWS.
• Maintaining and writing documentation.
• Database Development: expertise in SQL-based databases and familiarity with non-SQL databases such as MongoDB or AWS DynamoDB.
• Optimize the performance of applications through careful analysis and application of best practices.
• Adhere to best practices related to programming design patterns.

🎯Qualifications:

• Proven experience in web development and software architecture.
• Strong expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Drupal, Magento, WordPress, Docker, and AWS.
• Ability to evaluate different solutions.
• Experience leading development teams and delivering technical projects (+2years).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity in solving complex challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Emphasis on testing and code quality with familiarity in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) best practices.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Architecture as Code (e.g. Terraform or AWS alternatives) and understanding of microservices approach.

💻 Work Flexibility: Work from home, with an adjustable schedule that respects your work-life balance. Available offices are located in Poznań (Grudzieniec 10) and Nowy Tomyśl (Paproć 95), business trips to Kleinheubach are also possible if needed. We are also flexible with working hours starting between 7.00 - 9.00 (in matching appointments).
