Project

📌 This unit project focuses on leveraging a strong foundation in test automation to enhance and streamline the regression testing process within a software development lifecycle. The project involves designing and developing comprehensive test cases, including API testing to ensure robust software quality.

What you'll be doing 🙌

• Design and develop test cases in the area of regression testing including API testing and "corner cases" scenarios
• Identification of improvement areas in the area of regression testing
• Implementation of automation regression testing in CI/CD pipeline including implementation of monitoring tools like Grafana
• Configure and maintain test environments according to the development requirements
• Document and track defects in test management system
• Execute tests with the goal to release hardware and software in a defined time and quality metric
• Perform and assist in high-level and low-level test pipeline design
• Work with Quality Assurance Team, Product Management, DevOps Team and Customer Support to exchange ideas and information vital for the products success

Expected competences and knowledge 👌

• Strong testing background (at least 5 years of experience with testing automation including regression testing)
• Good programming skills (Java/Selenium/Cucumber/Playwright) with adherence to Clean Code standards
• Working knowledge of version control systems (preferably bitbucket)
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins integrations and regression testing mechanism
• Very good familiarity with software development life cycle
• Expertise knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (independence and creativity in delivering solutions to improve automation)
• Experience with Test Case Management Tools (qTest)
• Expertise knowledge about testing REST services
• Fluency in English since this role requires a lot of communication with English-speaking parties all the time
• Skills and initiative to understand the application business domain and work creatively alongside
• Proactive approach and proposing improvement areas
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in banking will be additional asset
