Senior Python Developer

Get to work on both data and software engineering tasks, venture into the world of maritime shipping analytics.

Help deliver solutions to shipping professionals that allow them to make better decisions, faster.

What will you do?

Build new projects, improve existing ones, create tools to be used by the rest of the team
Provide guidance to developers and data scientists
Coach and teach Python best practices

You will have opportunities to grow, learn different tech stacks and data science.

Required:

Excellent Python development skills
Min. 5 years of professional software engineering experience within a team-based environment
Excellent software development and object-oriented design fundamentals with a strong background in software applications
Building efficient server-side applications using Python, Flask, Django
Fluent in Test Driven Development (TDD)
RDBMS experience
Familiarity with Linux
Knowledge and experience with CI/CD
Strong communication skill in English

Nice to have:

JavaScript and React experience
Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment technologies is a plus
