Now, we are looking for a real “Architect”, not that dude from Matrix, but a highly-specialized human being, who loves manipulating data more than anything else (except foosball and board games), a true creator of a clean, well-documented code.
But hey! We’ve got some requirements:
✔️ Usage of:
- modern backend framework/language (like Symfony, GoLang, Node.js),
- technology defined by REST, HATEOAS, OAuth2 and ACLs.
✔️ DevOps skills including use of terminal console for server administration
✔️ Relational databases
✔️ Working with Git version control system
✔️ 3+ years of experience developing web applications
✔️ Debugging skills
✔️ Working on a Mac or common Linux distro
✔️ Good understanding of DRY, KISS and SOLID, best practices, code cleanse and design patterns
✔️ Knowledge of Containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
✔️ English language (min. B2/C1).
Ok, let’s clarify that “English” part – you’ll work mainly on international projects. Now imagine your English knowledge is limited to such phrases as “good morning”, “thank you” or “very nice”… Yeah, that’s why we need you to know some lingo.
Optional skills, not necessary, but…
✔️ Basic knowledge of any complimentary frontend framework (like React, Vue, Angular)
✔️ Good sense in application architecture planning
✔️ Arguments while choosing app infrastructure services
✔️ Own opinion on microservices vs monolithic app architecture
✔️ Knowledge on supporting technologies we use:
- memory caches,
- lucene-based search engines,
- message queues.
