Job description
Build from scratch the platform to automate the process of cars delivery date prediction and VIN number generation.
It is purely greenfield project, with aims to follow “12-factor app” principles, produce high quality, cloud-native, scalable system, deployable on AWS.
Project:
- The project is conducted for the leading German automotive company.
- The main aim is to automate several activities related to cars’ production process which currently require a lot of user input and manual work.
- A specific goal is to automate production checkpoints’ dates calculation to automatically calculated expected dates, when a particular car, under particular circumstances (like selected additional equipment) reach given production checkpoint. Especially – when it will be ready for end customer.
- Another aspect is to automate VIN generation which should be generated fully automatically.
Our requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Java development
- English mandatory
- Experience in an international environment – nice to have
- Good general IT knowledge – like design patterns, databases.
