Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for effectively leading a team in the software delivery process, managing project finances, allocating resources, and conducting presales activities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring project success and client satisfaction through coordinating team efforts and efficiently utilizing resources.

Your tasks will include:

• Team Leadership: You will be responsible for effectively managing the project team. Your goal is to ensure that all team members have clear goals and tasks and collaborate efficiently on project implementation.
• Financial Management: As a Delivery Manager, you will oversee the project budget, monitor expenses, and ensure that the project stays within established costs. You will also be responsible for preparing financial forecasts and reports for management.
• Resource Allocation: Your duty is to ensure the proper allocation of human and technical resources to projects. You will analyze project needs and allocate resources optimally to ensure project completion according to schedule.
• Presales: You will collaborate with the technical and sales teams to prepare commercial offers for potential clients. Your input will be crucial in identifying client requirements and proposing solutions that meet their needs.
• Risk Management: You will be responsible for identifying and managing project risks, including planning preventive and reactive actions in case of unforeseen problems.
• Process Improvement: You will actively participate in improving software delivery processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate changes to increase project efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in team management, with at least 5 years leading software development teams.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects using modern SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to effectively manage budgets, both project and departmental.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both the team and clients.
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems, make data-driven decisions and adapt to dynamic project environments.
• Experience in implementing effective change management strategies and proactively managing risks.
• Fluency in speaking and writing in English (C1 level or above) and Polish (native). 
• Alignment with ITSG Global's high-performance culture and a "can do" attitude.

Nice to have:

• Fascination with new technologies, especially Generative AI, ability to incorporate them into software development projects to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of the German language.
• Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist) is highly desirable.
• Technical background in software development, with hands-on experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
