Engineering Lead/ Manager (.Net)

BigTime Software is seeking an Engineering Lead (.NET) to build and lead BigTime engineering teams in our Center of Excellence located in Wroclaw, Poland.

BigTime is a venture-funded company based in Chicago committed to helping clients run professional teams more efficiently, unlocking potential revenue and improving profitability. The recent acquisition of Primetric, based in Wroclaw, Poland, will allow BigTime to expand our commitment to meeting the growing list of mission-critical needs for businesses within the professional services sector.

With the acquisition of Primetric, we are expanding our footprint internationally and will be launching a Development Center of Excellence in Wroclaw, Poland.

What You’ll Be Doing - Engineering Lead (.NET)

The Engineering Lead (.NET) will spearhead building and leading a world-class engineering team that will be responsible for designing, building, and testing new functionality on the BigTime core platform and BigTime mobile applications. The Engineering Lead (.NET) will partner with product management and other leadership in Poland and in the U.S. to build and manage engineering teams in BigTime’s Center of Excellence in Wroclaw, Poland. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building teams, creating a strong, supportive, and collaborative culture based on BigTime’s core values (“Own It”, “Respect the Team”, “Respect the Customer”, “Stretch”, “Always Add Value”), and leading engineering teams to build great software in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Who You Are:

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Polish
• Excellent people management, coaching and mentoring skills to raise the performance of your team.
• Proven ability to influence peers and senior leadership on technical direction
• Proven ability to deliver on roadmap commitments in an agile environment
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams across multiple time zones
• 5+ years of experience building and managing high-performing software engineering teams. You know what a great team looks like and how to build them.
• 5+ years hands-on, full-stack development experience with fluency in C#, .NET framework, SQL Server, .NET MVC, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks like Angular or React. You will be able to facilitate technical discussions.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a clear understanding of software engineering principles
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or its professional equivalent
