As a Senior SAP IS-U Lead Consultant – Billing & Customer Service, you will be working for our client, a prominent player in the Energy & Utilities sector, focused on energy and gas markets within Poland’s deregulated landscape. You will drive end-to-end SAP IS-U solutions that support critical billing, invoicing, and customer service processes, shaping the future of energy delivery and digital innovation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead the SAP IS-U stream end-to-end, overseeing Billing/FICA, Customer Service, and Sales & Distribution processes and integrations.
- Elicit, structure, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into robust SAP solutions.
- Design and supervise configuration and implementation within IS-U Billing / FICA modules (billing settlement, invoicing, tariff management).
- Produce and review functional and technical documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Collaborate with architects, ABAP developers, consultants, and key users to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
- Monitor and optimize business processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and system stability.
- Coordinate work with external SAP IS-U solution providers, including international partners.
- Support market-specific projects and utilities initiatives, including deregulation topics such as CSIRE and month-end SD activities.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 6+ years of hands-on SAP IS-U experience with proven delivery in Billing & FICA.
- Deep knowledge of billing, invoicing, tariff configuration, and utilities process impacts.
- Solid experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution documentation.
- ABAP skills sufficient for code reading, debugging, and simple enhancements.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams and excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in the Energy & Utilities domain, especially within energy or gas sectors, and familiarity with Poland’s deregulated market is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in agile environments; SCRUM knowledge is a plus.
- Very good communication skills in Polish; good command of English for documentation and international cooperation.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with CRM, IDEX, and SAP SD integrations.
- A track record of digital transformation projects within utilities.
- Prior leadership experience, such as mentoring or setting quality standards.

- Polish: very good communication skills
- English: communicative (necessary for documentation and international collaboration)
