As a Senior QA Automation Engineer – Web & Mobile Testing, you will be working for our client, a forward-thinking leader in the tech industry committed to delivering top-tier digital solutions. Your expertise will help shape reliable, high-quality products that impact millions of users worldwide, fostering innovation at the intersection of AI, web, and mobile technologies.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, write, and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on detailed product requirements and user stories.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and regressions using issue tracking tools such as Jira, supporting a seamless development cycle.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms to ensure optimal quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, promoting a shared understanding of project goals.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as a vital member of the Agile team.
• Review product specifications early in the design phase and provide valuable QA input to enhance product quality.
• Maintain and improve test documentation, test plans, and QA processes for continuous enhancement.
• Conduct root cause analysis on production issues to prevent recurring problems.

Bonus – Automation Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain an automated test suite using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright to streamline testing workflows.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI for faster delivery cycles.
• Expand automated regression coverage to reduce manual testing efforts, ensuring rapid feedback.
• Advocate for automation best practices and mentor junior QA team members to uplift overall team capabilities.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Over 5 years of experience in QA or software testing roles, with a proven track record in web and mobile testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes across diverse tech stacks.
• Experience testing APIs with tools such as Postman, including writing and executing test cases.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or backend languages.
• Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum development methodologies, contributing effectively within a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira and TestRail.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Python, Java, or JavaScript bindings).
• Familiarity with Playwright for end-to-end browser automation.
• Knowledge of the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• API testing skills with Postman or REST Assured.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or k6.
• ISTQB or similar QA certification.

• Fluent English language skills are essential for effective communication and documentation.
