As a Senior PMO, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, dedicated to fostering a data-driven culture that powers innovation and strategic growth. Your expertise will support high-profile projects focused on data issue remediation and governance, playing a critical role in enhancing data quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across the organization. Your main responsibilities:
- Support the Programme Manager and Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure project delivery aligns with business objectives, within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Monitor and escalate Risks, Issues, Assumptions, and Dependencies (RAID), ensuring prompt resolution.
- Manage delivery governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to HSBC’s Change Framework and delivery standards.
- Track budgets, expenditures, benefits, and OKRs, providing transparent progress reports.
- Conduct quality assurance on project documentation, process artifacts, and delivery outputs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as an independent post-implementation review facilitator, ensuring lessons learned are captured and applied.
- Promote best practices for agile delivery, including the use of Jira, Confluence, and other tools, across project teams.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide training on governance and methodology standards.
- Share insights, lessons learned, and process improvements within the Centre of Excellence.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a PMO role, with proven success in data issue remediation or data governance projects.
- Strong background in managing cross-functional global projects, ideally within financial services.
- Experience working with agile management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Clarity.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to influence and collaborate across different levels.
- Solid knowledge of project management best practices, including process improvement methodologies.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with HSBC standards, policies, and processes related to data governance (preferred).
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Prior experience in data quality / remediation projects.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP).
- Knowledge of data-related regulatory frameworks or banking standards.
