Warszawa-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).
As a Senior Payment Systems Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading bank in Poland, on a project focused on the development and maintenance of payment IT products, including instant transfers. This role involves close collaboration with IT and business teams to ensure high-quality system analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, helping to shape the evolution of financial services in a regulated environment.
- Develop and maintain systems for processing domestic and international transfers.
- Gather and analyze detailed business requirements.
- Prepare functional and quality specifications within the system analysis process.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams (IT, Business) during solution design.
- Manage change and ensure documentation quality and consistency.
- Verify alignment between implementation and specifications.
- Prepare test scenarios and support testing activities.
- Act as a proxy Product Owner in the payments domain.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT projects within the banking or financial sector.
- Good understanding of system architecture.
- Practical experience in specifying business processes, functional and quality requirements, data models, and system integration.
- Knowledge of methods for gathering requirements and preparing system specifications.
- Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP.
- Experience with UML diagrams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Good command of English at B2 level.
- Experience in system analysis and documentation.
- Experience in developing settlement systems such as Elixir, Express Elixir, Sorbnet, SEPA, Target.
- Knowledge of system architecture concepts (EIP integration patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, microservices, REST).
- Familiarity with exploration techniques like Event Storming, Domain Story Telling, User Story Mapping, Example Mapping.
- Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Familiarity with GIT.
- Experience with Diagram as Code and Model as Code techniques.
- Knowledge of testing strategies and automation.
- Ability to read code at a basic level.
- Experience using AI to optimize work.
- Polish (Communicative level)
