Senior IT Program Manager – Digital Banking Transformation

Warszawa-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month, up to 4 remote days per week).

As a Senior IT Program Manager – Digital Banking Transformation, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the online banking sector undergoing a continuous digital transformation. You will be part of the IT Delivery Office, overseeing high-impact initiatives that drive innovation and efficiency across retail banking services. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless delivery of complex projects, enabling the organization to stay ahead in a competitive digital landscape.

Your main responsibilities:

• Coordinate delivery of business initiatives within IT BOXes to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Support decision-making by providing data-driven insights and analysis.
• Present recommendations and assess consequences of available delivery options.
• Collaborate on scope adjustments to meet project deadlines creatively.
• Ensure delivery efforts align with strategic organizational objectives.
• Work closely with Box Owners, IT teams, and Business Strategy Office to coordinate activities.
• Collect, analyze, and share data on planning, progress, and team structure.
• Monitor key process metrics and performance indicators to optimize delivery.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of delivery processes and best practices.
• Drive efficiency and quality across software delivery portfolios.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Delivery Manager, IT Program Manager, or Technical Project Manager.
• Proven success in leading and delivering complex IT initiatives.
• Ability to creatively adjust project scope in collaboration with business units.
• Experience working in cross-functional and matrix environments.
• Proficiency with project, portfolio, and data analysis tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Power BI).
• Strong data analysis skills to support strategic decision-making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of both Agile (Scrum) and traditional (Waterfall) methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive mindset with strong stakeholder relationship-building skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in project management or agile frameworks.
• Knowledge of banking or financial services industries.

Language Required for the role:

• Polish – excellent command required.
