As a Senior Infrastructure Data Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in cybersecurity sciences and analytics. You will help build and support a cutting-edge data lake and analytics platform that enhances cybersecurity defenses through advanced data engineering and cloud infrastructure solutions. Your main responsibilities:
- Operate, enhance, and support the strategic cybersecurity data lake and analytics platform in Azure
- Build, deploy, and manage Azure solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform) for secure application deployment
- Manage Azure connectivity, networking, and security configurations (e.g., ExpressRoute, DNS, NSG, Firewall)
- Support CI/CD pipelines and maintain cloud landing zones to enable seamless cybersecurity operations
- Ensure compliance with operational risk standards and regulatory requirements, delivering reliable services
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-stack issues in collaboration with support teams
- Gather requirements, provide feedback, and support application development within the Azure environment
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering
- Strong expertise with Azure services (Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Containers, Databases)
- Hands-on experience with cloud and big data technologies (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in infrastructure technologies (Linux, Bash, PowerShell, Nginx/Apache, CosmosDB)
- Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation
- Experience with streaming platforms (Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, Spark Streaming)
- Knowledge of security and compliance practices (IAM, cloud auditing, monitoring tools)
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Familiarity with cloud-based SIEM and SOAR technologies
- Certifications related to Azure or cybersecurity
