As a Senior Identity and Access Management Application Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in cloud security and identity management. You will help design and build enterprise-grade identity workflows, integrating cutting-edge IAM solutions across Google Cloud Platform. Your work will enhance security, automate identity lifecycles, and enable seamless access management for global organizations, fostering innovation and operational excellence.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design and implement identity flows for provisioning, de-provisioning, and lifecycle event orchestration.
- Integrate cloud identity services, ServiceNow, and internal systems to optimize identity management processes.
- Build policy-based workflows for adaptive authentication and context-aware access control.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services supporting identity, provisioning, and governance workflows.
- Integrate APIs with authentication services for token validation, user session management, and authorization.
- Build pipelines where API events publish to Pub/Sub for asynchronous workflows.
- Develop Cloud Functions, Cloud Run microservices, or containerized solutions to process Pub/Sub messages.
- Create and maintain Terraform modules for IAM, API services, and workloads.
- Automate deployment and validation of identity and access configurations via CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve identity, access, and API workflow issues across distributed systems.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in identity and access management, cloud-native development, or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native APIs (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE).
- Deep understanding of event-driven architectures, Pub/Sub, message processing, and automation workflows.
- Proficiency in OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, SAML, and federation patterns.
- Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Knowledge of API gateways, reverse proxies, or service mesh solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Analytical mindset with strong debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration experience.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with full-stack development (React)
- Certifications like Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer or Cloud Architect
- Experience with additional identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE RBAC, workload identity)
- Familiarity with secrets management tools like Vault or Secret Manager
- Knowledge of compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA)
