As a PMO Delivery Lead – Technology Infrastructure & FinTech, you will be working for our client, a major financial institution at the forefront of banking innovation. This role centers on orchestrating complex technology infrastructure projects within a global bank, supporting millions of customers worldwide. Your main responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders across CTO Infrastructure areas to support the delivery of strategic portfolios and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Act as the primary liaison between areas and the Central PMO, facilitating seamless communication and coordination.
- Support and monitor portfolio health, report on project status, risks, and issues to senior management, including CTO level.
- Drive the planning process, ensuring accurate, timely delivery of programs and projects in accordance with HSBC Standards and frameworks.
- Support annual planning activities, advising on resource needs, and conducting health checks on resource supply and demand.
- Promote continuous improvement within program delivery, optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all programs are well integrated and interlocked within HSBC’s broader technology landscape.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 3 years of experience in portfolio and program management within IT infrastructure or FinTech environments.
- Strong knowledge of portfolio management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills, especially with senior leadership.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and uniting cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and project accounting principles.
- Good time management skills capable of working under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with technology infrastructure products, platforms, and FinTech innovations.
- Strong reporting skills, capable of translating data into executive-level reports.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications in project or portfolio management (e.g., PMI-PMP, PfM)
- Experience working within global multinationals and large-scale banking projects
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English, with excellent communication skills.
