As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a major player in global banking and markets, providing critical technology solutions for their collateral and margining systems worldwide. Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to understand infrastructure requirements and design scalable cloud architectures.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and tooling processes.
• Build automation capabilities to implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages.
• Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes to ensure seamless application delivery and system availability.
• Manage and support production and pre-production systems across cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Verify build, release, and configuration standards, coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain deployment excellence.
• Create and maintain MQ and sFTP connectivity, ensuring reliable message/file exchanges among applications.
• Apply DevOps best practices daily, standardize automation, and contribute to security and disaster recovery activities.
• Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, patching, and service sustainability tasks for continuous operational stability.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with GCP, DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Ansible, Docker), and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong scripting skills in shell, Python, or similar languages, with solid Linux platform experience.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance, including build and release management.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, cloud SQL, messaging queues (IBM MQ), and sFTP connectivity.
• Experience troubleshooting network issues and implementing TLS security protocols.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Familiarity with Python, Shell, or GoLang scripting beyond basics.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools or modern development accelerators.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, K8s, Flux, and managing GCP projects.
• Knowledge of Java/microservice architecture or messaging systems like Solace.

• Fluent English proficiency required.
