As a Senior Business Analyst – Technology Controls Automation, you will be working for our client, a leading international bank, to enhance their engineering platforms by automating controls and compliance processes. This role focuses on developing cutting-edge solutions that improve operational efficiency and ensure secure, compliant software delivery across global teams. Your main responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical activities to understand control scopes and how platform services can fulfill them for tenants.
- Translate policies and procedures into technical solutions and assist in designing automated controls.
- Collaborate with control owners, operators, and engineers to optimize control automation processes.
- Organize and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and ensure seamless implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on automation, reuse, and process enhancement.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, including communicating findings, presenting solutions, and managing expectations.
- Support iterative technology delivery by ensuring delivery of value-driven, incremental solutions.
- Encourage organizational maturity and operational excellence through proactive analysis and leadership.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in technology or controls environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret control objectives and design automation strategies.
- Knowledge of Technology Platforms, including Developer and Hosting Platforms, both Cloud and On-Premise.
- Understanding of controls environments and their influence on software engineering.
- Basic engineering skills or familiarity with software development processes.
- Experience in iterative, agile delivery frameworks.
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and quick learning capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven leadership in managing global, diverse teams and offshore maturity.
- Fluency in English.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Certifications in business analysis, project management, or related fields.
- Experience with controls automation tools or platforms.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards in banking or financial services.
