Manual tester today, Automation expert tomorrow!

Warsaw-based opportunity with the possibility to work remotely up to 2 days a week!

As a QA Engineer, you will work on the Payment System for our client - a large investment bank. The bank’s systems process a large number of transactions per day including International Payments SWIFT, European Payments SEPA and Swiss Domestic Payments SIC (and others as well). Payments IT is providing the IT systems/solutions for this business function. The business headquarter is in Zurich, Switzerland. The IT team comprises the bank’s internals in Zurich, 3 rd Party Software Vendor mainly in Warsaw and Integration Software Layer currently in India.

The goal is to set up an additional delivery center for the Integration Layer in Poland/Warsaw (close to the 3rd Party Software vendor FIS/C2P in Warsaw).

Your key responsibilities: Integrate a 3rd Party solution

Integration testing
Creating test cases and test plans based on requirements provided by stakeholders
Providing Test Status reports
Performing regression testing
Creating automated Test Cases, building Test Automation frameworks (where necessary)
Performing initial analysis of failed tests
Capturing and reporting any defects throughout test execution

Your ideal for this role if you have:

Solid experience in project delivery organizations as a Testing Engineer
Understanding of testing standard, test process (agile), test engineering (design and executing)
Understanding of test automation and UAT techniques
In-depth methodological know-how in Testing Engineering
Basic know-how of Business Analysis and software development (Java)
Basic skills in requirements engineering as well as Java programming skills
A strong repertoire of business and testing engineering methods
Ability to form trust relationships within IT and with Business stakeholders
Experience in Agile methodology and estimation techniques
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Strong Focus on delivery and “GetReady” attitude
Past experience in the Financial Services Industry and solid understanding of payments products is a strong plus
