Join a dynamic team and get priceless experience in challenging project within the investment banking area!

Wroclaw based opportunity with a possibility of 2 days remote !

As a Java Developer you will work on an application that serves adhoc reporting for high net worth individual clients as well as periodical and regulatory reporting for all banking clients. The reporting includes customized reports, various analyses, classifications and benchmark comparisons.

Your key Responsibilities:

Writing code in Java 7.0 and above as target language
Working within an agile project team
Participating in the development, with close cooperation of UI developers and testers

You are ideal for this opportunity if you have:

B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or similar
4+ years of experience in Java backend development
2+ years in total with Spring Framework
Expert knowledge in JEE 7, Spring 4 and JPA (Hibernate)
Knowledge in EJB, JMS, web and RESTful services
Experience with unit testing (JUnit)
Relational database (Oracle) and SQL knowledge
Strong OOP, design and architecture skills
Passion for delivering quality software using best practices in chosen technology
Problem solver, team player, great communication skills
Good verbal and written English skills (part of the team is in Wroclaw, but project language is EN)
Familiarity with Scrum

It is a strong plus if you have experience in:

Direct cooperation with business (at least a basic understanding of the project)
The investment reporting area – it is a valuable asset that can also be reused very well in future projects
